Helping You Find Local Drift Events in the Carolinas

what's this all about?

My name is Alex and I started DriftDirectory.com as a way to simplify finding drift events in the Carolinas, since NC is my home state. This project came to life as a way to mesh my interest and talents in website design and building with my love of drifting.

The site was officially launched in mid-2025 and my goal with it was provide value to drivers and spectators looking for grassroots drifting events to attend and stay close to the sport while I was recovering from a back injury and couldn’t drive. On the right (or above if you’re on your phone) you’ll see me and my drift-ready 350z at a Piedmont Drift – it ain’t much, but it does the trick!

It’s not always easy to stay on top of grassroots drift events — especially when info is scattered across different social media pages and groups.

DriftDirectory.com was built to simplify that. This platform brings together upcoming events, track details, and organizer info in one place, with a focus on building a connected community for drivers and spectators. I hope to be able to expand this project to more states in the future and am very grateful for those that have shown support for the project!

It also serves as a way for local brands and businesses that support grassroots drifting to get more exposure for what they do!
